About the Team
The Safety, Environment and Regulation division upholds safety and sustainability in our transport system. We’re working to deliver globally-recognised, safe, sustainable transport for our people, customers and the community.
Within SER we have Regulatory Operations including the Assurance and Agreements Team team that support and provide assurance for regulatory activities by developing and implementing robust governance frameworks, and leading branch planning, performance monitoring, and procurement and commercial support functions.
The opportunity
The role supports the Branch through analysis, monitoring and reporting of performance, including tracking of the delivery of the Branch Business Plan. Specifically, the role will:
- Provide data and analysis input into recurring reporting deliverables including ad-hoc reporting requests.
- Maintain the content and working of the information systems used to gather cost, time and performance data on programs and projects.
- Assist in defining and developing reporting strategies and contribute to reporting solutions for business strategy and program/project decision makers.
- Provide support to the Manager in the interpretation of trends, problem areas and opportunities from the data gathered from financial and other business systems used by the division.

About you
We are looking for a reporting professional with strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills, oral and written.
Your ability to work with data and ensure that the reports you produce reflect an accurate portrayal of the situation and the ability to convey this to an array of stakeholders is essential.
Ideally you will be proficient in using Power BI and experienced developing reports and dashboards for executive-level stakeholders.
Your stakeholder engagement skills are key to this role as you will be engaging with a variety of stakeholders from operational to the Senior Leadership team.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Transport Grade 7 ($108,770-$121,822) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
